Kunzhaus
Robert Kuśmirowski was born in 1973 in Łódź, Poland. He studied sculpture at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, and currently lives and works out of Poland. His work spans installation, photography, performance art, and sculpture, and has had work in the 4th Berlin Biennial, Barbican Centre in London, and the New Museum in NYC. His work generally deals with history-- sometimes history that is factually accurate, sometimes history that is mostly true but slightly manipulated, and other times he speculates on what hasn’t actually happened but could have. His installations often combine a variety of mediums, especially photography and performance
